The Public Sector Catering Expo - a new event for everyone working in public sector catering and will run from November 19-20.September 4, 2019 - 12:32
It will take place at the Telford International Centre and the two-day event aims to bring together buyers, decision makers and influencers from across the entire industry.
There will be a major exhibition of suppliers, seminars, networking and live cooking demonstrations that will showcase the best of catering in schools, hospitals, universities, colleges, social care settings, prisons and the military. The two day seminar programme will look at the key topics and issues affecting public sector catering including:

- Allergens & labelling
- Recruitment & training
- Diet & menu trends
- Food costs & sourcing
- Mental health & wellbeing
- Food & plastic waste
The event is supported by the key industry associations representing the public sector catering industry - LACA (the school food people), TUCO (The University Caterers Organisation), HCA (the Hospital Caterers Association), PACE (Professional Association for Catering Education) and NACC (the National Association of Care Catering).
The Expo will include a central exhibition area where visitors can meet with the associations and find out more about the work they do across the industry and the benefits of working with them.
The organising company behind it is Dewberry Redpoint, publisher of Public Sector Catering (the new name for Cost Sector Catering.
